Photoshop CS3 Beta

In case you haven’t heard, Adobe has released a public beta of the next version of Photosop: CS3. Pretty cool thing for them to do as they’ve never done a public beta of Photoshop ever before. The cool thing for the mac users is that they now have a version of Photoshop that runs native on the intel hardware. As for me, I’ve been running the Windows version in Vista and it seems to be about equal in speed to CS2. My favorite new feature are the smart filters, you can now have non-destructive filters on smart objects that you can go back and edit again! Go get the beta now and try it for yourself!

In other news, I found out that another one of my iStock images was used in a design. Pretty cool what he/she did with those headphones!

My Photo on npr.org!

I discovered tonight that one of my photos from iStock was used on this page at npr.org! Cool stuff, it took a long time for me to find a site that used one of my images. I’m also honored that it is NPR, which is where I get my news on the radio every morning on my way to work. Gotta love KPLU!

p.s. That’s Sarah’s sexy thumb in that shot. What a model!

I’m a Paid Photographer

Today marked a milestone in my digital photography hobby. Since around January I have been uploading my shots to istockphoto.com and selling them for $.20 – $1.00 depending on what resolution a customer downloads. The catch with iStock is that they won’t send you a check until you make $100. Well today I finally reached that number with my 218th download! Here’s the picture that got me the final $.20 I needed:

Model = Wife
