Team Fortress 2 just keeps getting better. Now that you can save replays and edit them to your liking, it’s tempting to not play any other game (which is probably what Valve wants I suppose). Here’s me as a pyro returning a rocket at the bad guys!
I’ve been packing up the garage today as we’ve got a renter coming in early June. Found this while rummaging through some boxes of old stuff. Ah, memories. I loved the tennis game.
I don’t have a ton of time to play games these days, but in my spare moments I’ve been working on the Half-Life 2: Episode 2 achievement ‘Little Rocket Man’.
You basically have to carry a garden gnome through the whole episode and place him in a rocket:
This can be quite challening, especially during the car levels because the little guy goes flying out of the car way too easily! Still, I managed and was able to get him there. Far my hard work, I received:
Yay! There’s also a similar gnome achivement in L4D2 that requires you to do a similar feat, carry a garden gnome all the way through the carnival campaign. I’d like to do that one sometime as well. Perhaps on my mac!
In other news, my new job is awesome and we are working hard preparing our condo to sell or rent so we can get over to Scotland in August!
After rescuing the princess,
Luigi took a flight across the Mushroom Kingdom in a Lakitu cloud
to reminisce on his recent adventure with Mario.
In each world he noticed footprints in the ground.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered Luigi because he noticed
that during the low periods of their adventure,
when he was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
he could see only one set of footprints.
So he said to Mario,
“You promised me Mario,
that if I followed you and helped you rescue the princess,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of our adventure.
such as world 8-4,
there have only been one
set of footprints in the ground.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?”
Mario then replied with a smirk in his moustache,
“The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you.”
